The school is required to record all unauthorised absences and report on totals of unauthorised absence. An unauthorised absence is an absence for which the school has received no explanation from the child's parent or guardian, or for which the reason was not satisfactory.
Holidays during term time cannot be authorised except in exceptional circumstances. Cost cannot be considered as an exceptional circumstance.

Children who are late to School must report to the school office so that they can be marked as present.
