Creative Arts
Children are encouraged to observe, design, build and express using a variety of materials. Some of this work is part of the topics in Science and Humanities and some is in courses, based on themes, designed to develop particular skills such as drawing, clay work, woodwork, needlecraft and printing. Observational drawing forms the starting point for most items areas of work developing from observational drawing to painting.
